Faced with strong criticism on campus and in Charlottesville, the University of Virginia’s president hosted a town hall today (Monday). Jim Ryan and his police chief tried to explain why they called state police to break up a student-led protest against Israeli attacks on civilians in Gaza. Sandy Hausman has that story.
