Property owners along the proposed Mountain Valley Pipeline will meet tonight, 11/17, to hear from eminent domain attorneys.
The proposed pipeline would bring oil from fracking operations in Pennsylvania and neighboring states through West Virginia and into Giles, Montgomery, Roanoke and Franklin Counties before ending in Pittyslvania County.
Dominion Resources is telling property owners in Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina that it'll sue if they don't allow surveying on their land for a proposed five-billion-dollar natural gas pipeline.
The company says surveying is essential to determine whether the land is suitable for construction and provides information required as part of the federal government's review of the pipeline.
The meeting will be held tonight, 11/17, at Custom Catering on Patrick Henry Drive in Blacksburg.
