Wait Wait Cinecasts

NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me! was on the big screen in our listening area in May including theaters in Danville, Lynchburg and Richmond. 

Congratulations go out to the winners of our Wait Wait cinecast contest. Each has won a pair of tickets to see one of the cinecasts in our listening area:

Danville's Stadium Cinemas on May 2 - Warren Sterba of Danville, Lorre Fleming of Danville, John Collins of Chatham, Karen Garnett of Danville, Deb Henderson of Danville.

Lynchburg's Movies 10 on May 2 - Jim & Roseanne Robertson of Newport, Sandi Shelton of Forest, Mary McCann of Forest, Anna Leigh of Madison Heights, Jennifer Cumby of Lowesville.

Richmond's Modlin Center on May 9 - Leih Merigian of Free Union, Sarah McDonald of Charlottesville, Margaret Whitaker of Richmond.

Contest Rules:

Winners were selected in a random drawing from Emailed registrants, one entry per listener, at the end of business day Tuesday, April 23.

Winners were eligible for one pair of tickets to one performance.

The odds of winning were determined by the number of entrants in the pool at the time of a drawing.  

Winners may not be employed by WVTF/RADIO IQ or be an immediate relative or family member of a station employee.

We will contact the winners. Names of winners will be announced on the air and posted to our web site and Facebook page.

Value of ticket giveaway: Danville's Stadium Cinemas - $44 (per pair, adult); Lynchburg's Movies 10  - $36 (per pair, adult); Richmond's Modlin Center for the Arts - $28 (per pair, adult).

Tickets given away: Two pairs for Danville, two pairs for Lynchburg, three pairs for Richmond.
