Fund Drive Volunteers Needed at WVTF & RADIO IQ!!!

We love our volunteers. We need our volunteers. Wouldn't be public radio without them.

As you may already know from listening during WVTF/RADIO IQ air campaigns, volunteers answer the phones and take pledges from our supporting listeners responding to our fund drive appeals. If you can spare a few hours from your busy - or even leisurely - schedule, please consider helping out by volunteering during one of our fund drives. You'll be doing something important for your favorite station and get a chance to meet some other great folks who, like you, believe in doing their part for public radio. All hours are available from early morning to late evenings, weekdays and weekends, during our campaign. Volunteer for our Radio Reading Service for the Blind and Print Impaired.

In addition to the broadcasts you hear on WVTF and RADIO IQ, there is another program stream that is designed specifically for the blind and print impaired in our listening area. This public service is provided to our listening area free of charge including special receivers that pick up the WVTF Radio Reading Service broadcasts.  Our volunteers read area newspapers, books and magazines to individuals with vision impairments. Our service is on the air 24/7 with volunteers doing all the reading.
