There’s a push to get students excited about computer science and tech. A new public high school in Richmond is tapping into that trend. But the school, called CodeRVA, isn’t just relying on innovative curriculum. It’s also an entirely different model of teaching, where school is a workplace.

Virginia launched a new PR campaign Monday to draw attention to the state’s quickly growing computer science industry. The campaign ties in neatly with Richmond Tech Week, which also kicked off Monday.

By now, everyone knows about the phenomenon of fake news.  But it’s not only news that’s faked online.  Researchers have been tracking the underground world of spammers and scammers for years and coming up with strategies to identify it.  But as Robbie Harris reports, it’s not clear when or if they’ll ever be able to stop it.
