It looks like another big company could be making its way to Virginia. According to state documents, an unidentified business is looking to move into a major industrial facility in Chesterfield County.

Kroger and the food workers union have a new deal…one that will stop a possible strike next week.

The tentative contract agreement comes after two days of negotiations between Local 400 of the United Food and Commercial Workers, and the biggest supermarket chain in the country.

Workers at Kroger stores in western and central Virginia could soon be on strike.

 The union representing some 3,000 employees rejected the company’s latest contract offer today. And workers authorized a strike if they don’t get a new deal by June 4th.
