Terry Gross hosts this multi-award-winning daily interview and features program. The veteran public radio interviewer is known for her extraordinary ability to engage guests of all dispositions. Every weekday she delights intelligent and curious listeners with revelations on contemporary societal concerns.

Fresh Air is produced at WHYY-FM in Philadelphia and broadcast nationally by NPR stations. 

Fresh Air is on RADIO IQ and RADIO IQ With BBC News at noon Monday through Saturday.

Fresh Air is on WVTF weekdays at 6:30 pm and Sundays at 6:00 pm.

Why would someone write a sentimental ballad about a bathroom? For the same reason someone would write a rousing song about tractors: So the song could be used in what's called an industrial musical.
