Explore outer space with the Bedford Public Library System. Inspired by the books we’re reading for the Community Read, we’re exploring space in multiple ways throughout the month of March. During the entire month of March you can view galleries of amazing pictures of outer space and Mars provided by NASA. “From the Earth to the Solar System” will be up at all BPLS libraries from March 1 to March 31. Come view photos of craters on the surface of Mars, Martian dust devils, and evidence of ice on the red planet. Also experience a Martian sunset. The images are at once artistic and informative, weaving together themes in astrobiology, planetary science, and astronomy. Each branch will have a different set of photographs available. You can pick up a guide that shows where to see each of the images at your library. The exhibit is open during the libraries’ regular operating hours. Contact your library for more information.
